Great Circle free for the next six months

A technological partnership was signed between Great Circle and the Class40 association. With this agreement, the class members can have a free and unrestricted access to the services offered by Great Circle until the end of June.

Great Circle is a Belgian Marine Weather company which develops its own local fine mesh models, 9km resolution GCWF up on all the coasts of Europe, the Caribbean and up to 3 km resolution on some densely navigation places.
SQUID, the name of Great Circle's "requester and viewer Grib" , also allows access to American models GFS, GEM Canada, the collection of ocean currents and sea conditions.

GRIB files are compatible with the classic routing software like Adrena, MaxSea ... This simple application allows the calculation of ancillary routes and increases for the preparation of your navigation on land and the connection of a GPS solution as a back-up board.

Among the changes to the application in 2012 we note: the distribution of tidal currents, access to data from the European model and the simple deterministic routing.

The company wishes to remain attentive to the wishes of its customers, your comments and suggestions are welcome.
