A new Akilaria RC2 is available for charter for the 2010 Route de Rhum. This most recent Marc Lombard designed is optimized for the race.
The boat will be delivered in February 2010. It will be professionally commissioned by Concise’s World Championship winning crew.
Concise 2 is Epoxy built has a direct prop drive and a modified keel fin. With its optimized weight, it will one of the fastest, best equipped boats available for charter.
The NKE pilot / instrument system is complete with the Regatta processor and is designed to have 100% redundancy (twin masthead wands, twin speed sensors, twin autopilot systems and twin rams). Navigation software is MaxSea Pro with Deckman as a backup. Communications via a Fleet 250 and mini Sat C. The boat also comes with a Garmin Radar and Plotter, AIS, VHF and GPS.
Concise 2 will be fully equipped in accordance with the Class 40 rules and Route de Rhum notice of race.
The original Concise won the 2008 Mondial speed trials, RORC 600 (Class 40) and 2009 World Championships.
CONCISE 2 WILL BE EVEN FASTER.
