New record in 24 hours
Gonzalo Botin, Pablo Santurde del Arco, Antonio Piris and Carlos Ruigomez,crew of Tales 2 in the Transat Quebec Saint Malo, covered 373.5 nautical miles at an average speed of 15.56 knots
Tales 2 impressive again by establishing the new speed record in 24 hours.
The previous record had been held since 31 July 2012 by Halvard Mabire, Miranda Merron and Christian Bouroulec on Campagne de France (359 nautical miles at an average speed of 154.95 knots).
