The famous Spi Ouest-France Banque Populaire Grand Ouest race returns this year for its 47th edition, to be held from April 18 to 21, 2024 in La Trinité-sur-Mer.
An emblematic port in Morbihan, La Trinité-sur-Mer will offer an exceptional setting for this not-to-be-missed regatta, which brings together sailing enthusiasts every year.
A starting line with 17 Class40
No fewer than 17 Class40 will be at the start of this 2024 edition, promising a great battle on the water. Here is the full list of participants:
A test event for the start of the season
The first race of the season for the Class40s, this edition of the Spi Ouest-France Banque Populaire Grand Ouest will be the ideal opportunity for crews to test themselves after the winter.
Among the 17 boats entered, there will be 5 pointus and 12 scows, two boat types that promise varied strategies and suspense on the water. This race will also allow the teams to check whether the work carried out during the winter refit is bearing fruit.
Two new boats will be making their debut on the circuit: Thimoté Polet N°208 and Corentin Douguet N°209.
