No respite for the Class40s! While the CIC Normandy Channel Race fleet wraps up at the end of the week, there are two other highlights on the circuit: the Porquerolles Race, which starts this Wednesday, May 28, and the Armen Race Uship, on May 29.
Porquerolles Race: heading for the Mediterranean
Organized by the Yacht Club de Porquerolles, this race is seductive for the quality of its program, the beauty of its scenery and its format: dynamic coastal courses, completed by a night race, all crewed.
Three of the four Class40 entrants have just completed the Paprec 600.

Armen Race Uship: heading for the Atlantic
Eight Class40s will be taking part in the Armen Race Uship, organized by the Société Nautique de La Trinité-sur-Mer. On the program, 300 nautical miles between La Trinité - Ar Men lighthouse - Île d'Yeu - La Trinité.
The Armen Race Uship is a race renowned for its complexity. Variable currents, weather transition zones and proximity to the coast make it an excellent first race for these crews, who start their 2025 season here.
